Conrad Bedford died from wounds on 15th March, 1915, after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no information, as to when and where he was wounded. The 5th London battalion arrived in France in November, 1914 where they joined 11 Brigade, of 4th Division. During the opening months of 1915 they were holding the line in and around Ploegsteert in Belgium. |
